An early 19th C. Mahogany Cross Banded Oak Mule Chest.  It has 2 faux drawers over one long  drawer which gives the appearance of being 3 drawers, and also 2 lower drawers, all having beautiful original brass drop handles.  The top lifts to reveal generous storage space beneath and it stands on 4 bracket feet.
 
A good quality piece of furniture, in a nice original condition with wear and tear conducive with age and use.
