A Georgian Oak Housekeepers Cupboard of good proportion.  C.1780.
The beautiful golden Oak is quarter sawn and the doors have cupid bow panels.  It has 3 cupboards to the top section and 2 cupboards and 3 drawers to the base, with each cupboard having a good working lock with key.  The interior has the original paint finish,  in a colour of the period.
It really is a wonderful example of country house furniture of the time and just perfect for a free standing kitchen.
It is very heavy and in good solid order with signs of wear as would be expected from age and use.
