A pair of well executed early 19th C. Oil on Canvas Portraits in original Gilt frames.  Both depict a gentleman, sitters unknown but one is studying anatomy, the medical book depicting skulls and the specimen jar clearly visible.
There is some damage to the frames and some minor flaking of the paint in places.
