An original Still Life Painting by Kathleen Edith Lewis.  Unsigned. An Oil on board depicting the interior of a shed with a wheelbarrow, barrels, basket and other objects.  A well executed painting with the reverse having her maiden name written across the middle and an exhibition label.
Kathleen Lewis (1907-2003) was born Kathleen Edith Hansom in Dulwich, London and trained as an artist at Regent Street Polytechnic and has exhibited the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery amongst others.  She was the great grand-daughter of Joseph Hansom, the inventor of the Hansom Cab, a two- wheeled horse-drawn carriage.
