An original Still Life Painting signed Kathleen Lewis.  Oil on board depicting fruit, vegetables and a glazed earthenware cookpot.  The painting has been executed on an already used board, with the other painting visible on the reverse.
Kathleen Lewis (1907-2003) was born Kathleen Edith Hansom in Dulwich, London and trained as an artist at Regent Street Polytechnic and has exhibited the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery amongst others.  She was the great grand-daughter of Joseph Hansom, the inventor of the Hansom Cab, a two- wheeled horse-drawn carriage.
